Measurement of picture quality in radioscopy system

The special qualities of a radioscopy system are of considerable importance with regard to the picture quality to be achieved for the reliable and economically justifiable location of faults. Applicable standards and regulations for the selection adjustment and acceptance of such systems are still missing, so that decisions have to be made ad hoc. The basis for all further steps is the development of methods for judging picture quality of industrial radioscopy systems objectively on the basis of physically measureable parameters and testing with a suitable measuring device. A suitable solution for this should be introduced. (orig./DG)
