Irradiation of water to improve the specific activity of oxygen-15 produced from oxygen-16
Description
We are developing a target for production of 15O using an 8 MeV 3He++ RFQ accelerator. The RFQ will deliver 300 μA of beam. Results of hot atom chemistry experiments aiming at improving 15O specific activity are presented. (author) 4 figs., 2 tabs., 6 refs
