Application of neutron scattering to crystalline polymers

Creators

Description

This is a brief account of the application of small angle neutron scattering to the study of crystalline structure of polymers. The scattering is coherent elastic and the polymers considered consist of regularly repeating sequences, with a 'crystal structure'. Neutron scattering can give information on the path of the polymer chain within its own environment. This is important for understanding how macromolecules crystallize. (UK)
