Description

A x-ray diffraction investigation into molecular complex mentioned in the title is conducted. Rhombic cell parameters are: a=12.400(6), b=8.691(4), c=24.778(8) A, F. gr. Pbcn, Z=4. Cd atom has an octahedral cis-configuration. Apart from I atoms its coordination comprises O and N atoms from two molecules of an organic ligand, forming five-member chelate CdN(1)N(2)C(1)O(1) cycles. Angles with Cd atoms notably distorted
