Form factors in radiative decays of pseudoscalar and vector mesons

Description
From the dominance of the structureless anomalous part of the triangle quark diagram in processes of the type P→γγ and P→Vγ it is deduced that the form factors of the decays P→l+l-γ and V→Pl+l- are determined mainly by the contribution from virtual vector mesons, which corresponds to the vector-dominance model. The respective form factors of the photons also render convergent the expression for the amplitude of the process P0→l+l-. The calculation of the probabilities of the above decays leads to results in reasonable agreement with the measured data within the large experimental errors
