NPT: only three days of debate on fundamental questions
Description
More than 100 Member-states of the Non-proliferation treaty (NPT) met in Vienna from April 30 to May 11, 2007 for the first session of the Preparatory Committee (PrepCom) to the NPT review conference. After the failure of the previous NPT review conference of 2005, this new PrepCom started in the particular context of recent proofs of proliferation activities and NPT violation by several countries. In addition, Iran rejected the agenda proposal during 6 days, leaving only 3 days of the conference to treat the fundamental questions of the PrepCom
