Duality structure of diffraction dissociation
Description
Data on the process K-p→pX as well as those on pp→pX and πsup(-)p→pX are studied with the purpose to test whether the data favour the usual Harari Freund duality on the abnormal situation in which the diffractive resonances in the direct channel, at least partially built up the pomeron in the crossed channel. It is found that the abnormal scheme is ruled out at least at t=-0.25 (GeV/c)2 and the normal duality scheme is quite compatible with the experimental data at the same point
