Description

Solid state track recorders (SSTRs) have found increasing applications as passive neutron dosimeters for monitoring nuclear power plant components and equipment that may be subject to neutron-induced embrittlement or degradation. Pressure vessel surveillance using SSTR neutron dosimeters deployed in the reactor cavity region is now being carried out on a cycle-by-cycle basis at several operating power reactors. Results of these dosimetry exposures are summarized
