Description
We are planning to perform a spectroscopy experiment of pionic atoms via the (p, 2He) reaction in RCNP. Novel techniques such as Xe gas target and dispersion matching may lead to the better understanding of the partial restoration of chiral symmetry at finite density. The results of the feasibility study and the plan of the first experiment are reported. (author)
