Conclusion. Complex processing of aluminosilicate ores of Tajikistan by kinetic methods
Creators
Description
Aluminosilicate ores - nepheline syenite of Turpi Deposit, kaolin clays of Ziddy deposit and argillite of Ziddy and Chashma-Sang were selected for the study. The chemical composition of the aluminosilicate ores is given. The content of alumina in the raw materials ranges from 20 to 31.6%. Iron oxide content varies from 0.7 to 12.0%. Nepheline syenite contain the highest amount of potassium and can be used for the production of potash fertilisers. The characteristics of aluminosilicate ores have been studied previously and it was found that the main ore-forming minerals in these ores are: nepheline, albite, orthoclase, microcline, biotite, calcite, kaolinite and silica (more than 50%). The results of hydrochloric acid decomposition of aluminosilicate ores are presented. It was found that when aluminosilicate ores are treated with 20% hydrochloric acid at a temperature of 95-98 deg C, the recovery of useful components is insignificant and does not exceed 50%.
