Key Lake uranium mill the largest in the world

Creators

Description

Becoming the world's premier uranium producer required that Key Lake Mining Corp. build a technically advanced processing plant. Not only will the mill produce 5,400 tonnes of U3O8 annually, it will do so in a very efficient manner. Some of the innovations built into the Key Lake mill include removal of radium in the plant, the absence of settling ponds for effluent and creation of a tailings impoundment area that is almost impervious to seepage and that will contain hydroxides in a stable condition
