Critical heat transfer under selforganizing vortex structures in the coolant flow
Description
The results obtained in investigating the effect of the vortex intensification of heat exchange on the critical heat fluxes in the energy-exchange channels with a streamline surface formed by the regular pattern of spherical pits are reported. The investigations were carried out in the bundles of heated rods and in annular channels at a mass flow rate of 1000 to 5000 kg/(cm2.s), a coolant pressure of 1.0 to 0.6 MPa and 10 to 17.5 MPa, a relative enthalpy of flux of 0.4 to -0.5. 14 refs.; 12 figs
