γ-induced hydroxylation of ethylene by ethyldichlorosilane
Description
The γ-induced interaction of ethyldichlorosilane with ethylene was studied. The composition of the products and the kinetics of their formation correspond to the mechanism of radical telomerization. It was shown that ethylene is an effective acceptor of ethyldichlorosilyl radicals. The particular chain transfer constants obtained were used to calculate the composition of the products
