Methodology for stratification of the risk of cardiovascular complications in the participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Appendix 1

Description

Automatic translation: Most (about 55%) of all deaths in Russia are associated with diseases of the heart and blood vessels, and in terms of overall mortality, our country is significantly ahead of all European countries (World Health Organization, www.who.int). Against this unfavorable background, the problem of morbidity and mortality seems to be serious in a special subpopulation of Russians, quite numerous and very responsible in social terms, who are liquidators of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
