Description
The structure of different excited states of the 12C nucleus has been investigated in the framework of the hyperspherical function method. The spectrum of excited 0+- and 2+-states up to E * = 22 MeV, the corresponding density distributions, rms-radii and reduced probability B(E2)-values have been calculated. Then, folding-potentials have been constructed and used for the description of elastic and inelastic scattering of light ions by 12C
