Aharonov-Bohm effect on a bound state of the Schroedinger equation
Description
This article is dedicated to the study of the influence of a magnetic field on the first eigenvalue of the Schroedinger equation. It is proposed to exploit quantitatively a remark of an article of Lavine O'Carroll (1977) by semiclassical methods. The comparison of the d'Agmon distance of the sources of the magnetic field and the minimal (d'Agmon) length of the contour lines of the source play an essential role in the evident phenomena.
