Theoretical implications of recent collider results
Description
The comparison of the properties of the W and Z bosons found at the CERN collider, with what is expected in the standard model is discussed. Various theoretical speculations concerning some recently reported exotic events are reviewed. No overwhelmingly favored theoretical explanation appears to spring forth for all the existing exotica.
