Description
A 2013 European directive imposed to member States the implementation of a Return on Experience (REX) arrangement to diffuse lessons learned from radiation protection events declared to national authorities. After a brief presentation of the background and reason of this REX, this publication proposes brief presentations of international and foreign REX arrangement: ROSEIS (Radiation Oncology Safety Education and Information System), IAEA (with the SAFRON, Safety in Radiation Oncology), Canada (NSIR-RT, National System for Incident Reporting-Radiation Treatment, USA (RO-ILS, Radiation Oncology Incident Learning System), United-Kingdom (National Voluntary Radiotherapy Reporting and Learning system), Belgium (Voluntary Notification system). Scope and mandatory declaration systems are briefly presented.
