Preparation of high specific activity [14C]-barium carbonate
- 1. Nuclear Power Inst. of China, Chengdu (China)
Description
The authors describe the technique of producing high specific activity [14C]-barium carbonate. 14C is produced through reaction of 14N(n,p)14C by using of AIN target. 14C-barium carbonate is prepared by flox oxidated. The results show that the rate of chemistry recovery of this method is not less than 94%, specific activity of BaCO3 is 8.60 GBq/g (BaCO3), the products is satisfied for consumer
