Costs of nuclear accidents

  • 1. Cambridge Univ. (UK). Cavendish Lab.

Description

The economic consequences of nuclear accidents are expressed as a surcharge on the capital costs of each new station, since an accident at any nuclear power station may cause similar reactors to reduce their output. The PWR and AGR are investigated and their accident surcharges compared. (U.K.)
