Dosimetric impact of radioactive releases from E.D.F. nuclear power plant in usual operation

Description

In the frame of release authorizations renewal at the nuclear power plant of Saint-Laurent, an evaluation of dosimetric impact, bound to radioactive releases from 1996 for the two PWR type reactors in exploitation, has been realized for three reference groups living in neighbouring communes. The received dose is imputable to carbon 14 (64.3%) and tritium (30.4%). The evaluation of dosimetric impact shows that the annual dose received by the most exposed person of the public is very low (inferior to 1 micro sievert by year) compared to the regulatory limit fixed for the public.
