The hazards of nuclear power generation - the case for survival

Description

Nuclear statistics for USA, Europe and Canada are presented. Technical, moral and political arguments against the continuance of nuclear power installations are discussed. The possibility and effects of the destruction of a power reactor in a nuclear war, are considered. An alternative is proposed to nuclear power plants. A technique is outlined of electrical induction heating of lignite and sub-bituminous coal in situ. The advantages of the method are discussed. (U.K.)
