Isotopic exchange of sulfur in heterogeneous systems of metal-34SO2

Description
Processes of the exchange of 32S and 34S sulfur stable isotopes in heterogeneous systems bearing sulfur dioxide and metals (Ni, Cu, Co, Sn, Pt) were investigated. Values of activation energies and constants of sulfur isotopic exchange rates in the range of 1170-1470 K were calculated. Activation energy of the exchange process decreased and rate constant increased as the concentration of sulfur in the metal grew
