1H NMR and IR spectroscopic study of the structure of the major component of the 99mTc HMPAO (hexamethylpropylene-amino oxime) radiopharmaceutical preparation

Description
Practicability of the PMR and IR spectroscopy methods for the development of a simple method permitting estimation of the content of meso-form of hexamethylpropyleneaminoxime (HMPAO) impurity in d,l-isomer of HMPAO contained in radiopharmaceutical preparations 99mTc HMPAO, was studied. The structure of HMPAO conformers in aqueous solution in the range of pH values of 1-12.5 was studied by the PMR method. A method for estimating the amount of meso-form in a mixture of isomers on the basis of the PMR spectra was suggested, optimal conditions for the analysis being ascertained. It is pointed out that specific features of HMPAO isomers IR spectra depend on their structure and differences in molecules packing in crystal lattice

Изучена возможность использования методов ПМР и ИК спектроскопии для разработки простого метода оценки содержания примеси мезо-формы гексаметилпропиленаминоксима (ГМПАО) в d,l-изомере ГМПАО, входящем в состав радиофармацевтического препарата 99mTc ГМПАО. Методом ПМР изучено строение конформеров ГМПАО в водном растворе в диапазоне значений рН 1-12,5. Предложен метод оценки количества мезо-формы в смеси изомеров на основе спектров ПМР и определены оптимальные условия анализа. Отмечено, что особенности ИК спектров изомеров ГМПАО зависят от их строения и различия в упаковке молекул в кристаллической решеткеAdditional details
