Stationary setup for detection and identification of explosives using tagged neutrons method
Description
The results of exploitation of the stationary setup for detection and identification of explosives using tagged neutrons method (API method) have been presented. The source of tagged neutron beams with 14.1 MeV energy is the portable neutron generator ING-27, made by VNIIA (Moscow). It contains embedded 64-pixels silicon α-detector with double-sided strip readout, developed by JINR. The setup was tested for identification of more than 30 explosives
