Search for neutron-antineutron oscillation in /sup 16/O nuclei

Description
Results are presented on neutron-antineutron oscillations in a /sup 16/O nucleus from the Kamioka nucleon-decay experiment KAMIOKANDE. The lower limit on neutron lifetime in /sup 16/O is 4.3 x 10/sup 31/ yr at 90% C.L., corresponding to a lower limit of 1.2 x 108 sec at 90% C.L. for neutron-antineutron oscillation time
