Investigation of the anisotropic Ising model by the Monte Carlo method
Description
Long-period modulated structures in the anisotropic Ising model with competitive interactions are investigated by means of the Monte-Carlo method (ANNNI model). The features, character, and temperature dependence of modulated structures are determined and the constant relations of exchange interaction between nearest and next-nearest neighbors are evaluated. A phase diagram is plotted.
