Auger-fragmentation of nanoclusters

Description

Cluster fragmentation caused by the Coulomb explosion taking place as a result of the Auger-cascade initiated by ionization of a regular atom deep shell has been considered. The expressions for the cross sections of the fragmentation process have been obtained with taking into account the competition between movement of the Coulomb group of ions and neutralization of this group by valent zone electrons.
