Extraction and synthesis of different-ligand uranyl complexes

  • 1. Kievskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (Ukrainian SSR)

Description

Uranyl extraction by oxygen-containing reagents from solutions containing rhodanide, selenocyanate and nitrosodicyanmethanide ions is studied. The composition of the compounds extracted is determined. Synthesized are the following compounds: UO2(HMPA)3X2 (HMPA-hexamethylphosphoamide, X-NCSe, ONC(CN)2, UO2A3(ONC(CN)2)2 (A-antipyrine); UO2(AA)3X2 (AA-4-aminoantipyrine, X-NCS, NCSe); UO2D2(ONC(CN)2)2 (D-diantipyrilmethane); UO2(phD)2X2 (phD-phenyldiantipyrilmethane; X-NCS, NCSe, ONC(CN)2). Their IR absorption spectra are investigated. The method of quantitative extraction of uranium from the solutions in the form of rhodanide complex with hexamethylphosphoamide is suggested
