Mathematical models for the processing of data from binding radioassays; transformations and approximations
- 1. Mainz Univ. (F.R. Germany). 1. Medizinische Klinik und Poliklinik
Description
The evaluation of radioassay data by computer requires mathematical models by which corresponding standard curves can be described. It was the purpose of this study to find out by which of the following mathematical operations optimal curve fittings could be achieved: Transformations by the functions arcsine, arctangent, logit, probit, hyperbolic sine, hyperbolic tangent and the L-transformation; approximation and interpolation by natural cubic spline functions. Abstract (German)
