On the power rise rate in a pulse high-current beam of accelerated electrons

Description

It is shown that the rate of the power increase of an electron beam, produced in pulsed high-current accelerators, is limited by the wave resistance of the circuit sections and, in the first turn, by the wave resistance of a diode. The stated limit can be overcome by the step increase in the voltage. A method of such an increase is proposed
