Das Arbeitsprogramm für die Entwicklungsarbeiten in den Jahren 1975/76 basiert auf den Programmen der NUKEM ''Das Brennelement für den Thorium-Hochtemperatur-Reaktor (THTR), Arbeitsprogramm und Kosten für die Jahre 1969 bis 1973'' vom August 1968 und ''Das Brennelement für den Thorium-Hochtemperatur-Reaktor (THTR), Arbeitsprogramm und Kosten für die Jahre 1971 bis 1975'' vom März 1971. Die Verlängerung bis zum Jahr 1976 war erforderlich, da das Arbeitsprogramm definitionsgemäß bis zum Fertigstellungstermin der gesamten Erstcharge von Brennelementen für den THTR läuft. Dieser Termin wurde den Änderungen in der Reaktorbauplanung angepaßt und auf Herbst 1976 verschoben (siehe Terminplan Abb.l).
