Description

The paper deals with the results of the magnetic measurements of dipoles and quadrupoles for the 1-st stage of UNK. The tolerability of the magnetic field nonlinearities mesured from the viewpoint of beam stability is discussed. The technique of the dipole ordering along the ring which is based on the measured values of the effective lengths of the dipoles and is aimed at the minimization of the closed-orbit distortion is presented. 5 refs.; 6 figs.; 3 tabs
