Description

Results of preliminary decoding of dysprosium n-nitrobenzoate, the crystals of which are prepared by the interaction of aqueous solutions of sodium n-nitrobenzoate and DyCl3x6H2O (the quality of monocrystals is however, bad), are presented. Parameters of the triclinic lattices are presented: a=13.699(13), b=14.119(13), c=14.720 (12) A, α=94.090 (7), β=106.770 (7), γ=103.167 (8) deg, V=2625.40 A3, rhosub(calc)=1.75 g/cm3, Z=4. Atomic coefficients and their temperature factors are tabulated. The crystal structure of the monocrystal obtained consists of centrosymmetric linear tetrameric molecules. All dysprosium atoms are 8-coordinated but the coordinations of symmetrically independent atoms are different
