Some aspects of very hot matter
Description
The problem posed by the plasmon in hot gluon matter or QCD is discussed within perturbation theory. Some mean-field models have been suggested in order to circumvent the infrared problems of perturbation theory but these models turn out to have severe problems too. Large N thermodynamics and some effective models allowing solitons are finally discussed. (author)
