Device for priliminary selection of useful events

Description
A device assembled using the 155 series integrated microcircuits and designed for preliminary (before data punching) selection of useful events in the aragatz magnetic spectrometer is described. Analysis of the data received from wire spark chambcrs is performed using two criteria of instructions with the rejection of events which can not be processed by a computer. The device introduction into the facility reduced the amount of useless events, which have been prepared for punching, by 80%. The data analysis and selection occur during 150 ms including sampling time of chamber ferrite encoders (approximately 80 ms). The device doesn't increase the dead time of the facility as the selection is performed during the speed-up of the perforator motor operating in the start-stop regime
