Measurement of density fluctuations in WT-2 plasma by a HCN laser scattering
- 1. Kyoto Univ. (Japan). Faculty of Science
Description
A submillimeter wave scattering method was used to study low frequency density fluctuations in a range of drift waves in WT-2 tokamak. The fluctuations are very intense and their frequency spectra are broad. When the lower hybrid wave driven current is generated and the loop voltage is decreased, the intensity of lf fluctuations decrease and the frequency spectra become narrow. (author)
