New accident proof level measurement devices

Description
Water level measurement devices for use in various sumps, vessels under pressure and filled pools are required for AREVA's EPR trademark in Finland. These devices are required to function during and after the occurrence of a postulated severe accident (SA) event where extreme pressure-, temperature- and gamma radiation conditions might prevail. Such devices are not purchasable on the international market and AREVA therefore launched a device development program to develop and qualify such devices. (orig.)
