Description

We discuss properties of the superspace formulation of the effective action for the massless fields in type-I or heterotic superstrings. It is shown that up to O(α'3), the superstring corrections in the slope parameter expansion of the D=10, N=1 superspace supergravity-Yang-Mills theory can be embedded in the A-tensor and f-tensor supercurrents. This is in accord with a previous conjecture that all classical superstring corrections can be embedded in the supercurrents for the new theory. (orig.)
