Electrical, thermal and magnetic properties of multicomponent Fe-C base alloys in the vicinity of Curie point

Description
Electric conductivity, thermal diffusivity and magnetic susceptibility were measured in a number of Fe-C alloys with transition element additions. Measurements within the range of 900-1500 K revealed an exceptionally intriguing interval (1030-1060 K) where kinetic coefficients and magnetic parameters had anomalies related to ferromagnet-paramagnet phase transition. It was concluded that introduction of small amounts of transition metals (0.3-5 mass.%) variously affected kinetic and thermodynamic properties of binary and multicomponent iron base alloys
