Neotectonic structure

The qualitative and spatial assessment of the youngest tectonic activity of the Western Carpathians and the Pannonian Basin in the territory of Slovakia. The resulting structuring of tectonic activity of the last cycle of the geo-dynamic development with relative dynamics of vertical movements of the individual block structures discernible at the applied scale is represented. Their present state is also obvious while it includes the movement tendencies of the future development of the tectonic activity in the forthcoming geological era. Age of tectonic activity as well as relative vertical movement trends of tectonic blocks are shown on the scheme. (authors)
