Description
The fatigue cracks development in the range of the crack growth rate from 10-7 to 10-4 mm/cycle during the 00Kh12N3D steel tension in air and water is investigated. The effect of the cycle frequency and form on the rate of crack propagation is studied. It is shown that the character of water effect on the crack growth is defined by the level of the tension intensity coefficient Ksub(max) and depends on the loading frequency. The dependence of the aqueous medium influence on the fracture of the 00Kh12N3D steel on the Ksub(max) value
