Preparation of drainage design concept of demo disposal facility at nuclear Serpong area

The preparation of cover concept design for demo disposal facilities in Serpong Nuclear Area (KNS) have been done. The description method covered of activities such as data collection and secondary information, processing and data analysis, and results evaluation. The objective of the activity is to obtain the basic design and detailed design of the drainage system for disposal demo facilities. In the design of the cover there are two drainage layers that can be found on the the third and fifth layers. Drainage channels on the cover design flows toward the main drainage channel. In the compartment there is a gutter drainage with a slope of 1 %, leading to a chop stick. Of chopsticks flow toward control basin, tub is equipped with a pump control that serves to suck the water in case of flood water. To monitor the control tanks, man holes created equipped with a ladder. The main drainage disposal facilities are outside the building. The main drainage using reinforced concrete to a depth of 40 cm and a slope of 1 %, which is equipped with a catchment basin. Drainage is 20 cm diameter (inside diameter) which will be used to accommodate filtrate rainwater from the roof (gutters) and flows to the water storage in KNS. (author)
