Description
1 - Description of program or function: GCASCAD is designed to calculate, using the statistical model, the gamma-ray branching ratios and the photon production cross sections. The gamma-ray transmission coefficients are calculated using one of several possible forms for gamma-ray strength functions: Brink-Axel giant dipole model, Kopecky-Uhl generalized Lorentzian model, Weisskopf single-particle model. In the continuum part of level spectrum the level density is treated with the Gilbert-Cameron composite formula. 2 - Methods: The integrals in the continuum part of level spectrum are computed using the Gauss method (with 12 quadratures).
