Description

The complex fragment emission in the decay of 43Sc* and 44Ti* composite systems formed in 16O+ 27Al and 16O+ 28Si reactions, respectively, within the DCM are studied. The values of FF and DIO cross-sections for different IMFs will be calculated and compared with the available Z-distribution data for the complex fragments. The preliminary results show for the decay of 43Sc*, the asymmetric fission fragments (6Li, 10B, 12C, 13C and the complementary fragments) are highly preformed compared to symmetric fission fragments (20,21Ne and 22,23Na) whereas in the decay of 44Ti*, the symmetric fission fragment (22Na) strongly competes with asymmetric fission fragments (6Li, 8Be, 12C, 14N and the complementary fragments). Moreover, in the decay of 43Sc*, for Z=5, 10 B is energetically favored and shows maxima in preformation profile while in case of 44Ti*, for Z=5, 9,10 B have less preformation probability (P0) compared to neighboring fragments having maxima in P0. The result is in consonance/agreement with experimental data for IMFs having Z=5
