Spot volume tops 4 million lbs; prices advance

This article is the February 1995 uranium market summary. During this period, twenty-one deals took place; thirteen in the spot concentrates market, one in the medium and long-term market, five in the conversion market, and two in the enrichment market. Volume on the spot concentrates market exceeded 4 million lbs equivalent in February, the highest level since March 1994. The restricted and unrestricted price ranges strengthened, conversion prices remained unchanged, and SWU prices edged up slightly
