A convenient synthesis of Nsup(G)-mono[14C-methyl]-L-arginine
Description
Nsup(G)-Mono[14C-methyl]-L-arginine was prepared in a two-step synthesis. N,S-dimethylthiopseudouronium iodide [methyl-14C] was prepared in excellent yield and afforded the labelled amino acid on coupling with L-ornithine. (author)
