Description
This article develops the two following points: the characterization of the materials and the analysis of the behaviour of the structures for which the evaluation of the various parameters is essential. The facilities and tests carried out at the C.E.A. for determining K1c, J1c, K1d, are presented. The application made to characterize the irradiated materials is then indicated. The analysis of the behaviour of the structures makes it possible to verify at several levels that the dimensioning of the appliances is right: assessment of the dimensioning rules, calculation methods, calculation hypotheses and execution of additional calculations. These various aspects are illustrated with concrete examples: calculation of a valve and fittings component, study of a tube-sleeve connection, calculation of pipework and study of the whipping of an instrumentation pipe
Abstract (French)
Cet article developpe les deux points suivants: la caracterisation des materiaux et l'analyse du comportement des structures pour laquelle l'evaluation de differents parametres est indispensable. Les moyens et types d'essais effectues au CEA, pour la determination de K1c, J1c, K1d, sont presentes; on indique ensuite l'application qui en a ete faite pour caracteriser les materiaux irradies. L'analyse du comportement des structures permet de verifier a plusieurs niveaux que le dimensionnement des appareils est correct: evaluation des regles de dimensionnement, des methodes de calcul, des hypotheses de calcul et execution de calculs complementaires. Ces differents aspects sont illustres a l'aide d'exemples concrets: calcul d'un organe de robinetterie, etude d'une liaison tube-manchette, calcul de tuyauterie, et etude du fouettement d'un tube d'instrumentationAdditional details
