Increasing a Z-pinch's hard x-ray yield

Description
Theoretical models of experimental schemes realizing the energy conversion of z-pinches hot plasma into hard x radiation on reviewed. A heterogeneous convertor is shown to be superior comparing to conventional ones. (AIP)
