Study of the surface state of high-heat compounds using the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy method

Description

X-ray photoelectron spectra of borides, silicides and germanides of transition d-metals have been studied in order to evaluate the charge state (the binding energy and the charge density) of the atoms in these compounds. The complexes forming on the surface of the compounds have been studied. It is suggested that the bonds in the compounds are heterodesmic
